We are Öner Satıoğlu and Merve Satıoğlu. A couple who share their life together, and two artists with a background in graphic design. Linours was born from our shared love of art and craftsmanship, and the dream we came to share over time. Today we design every piece together, evaluate it together, and shape the journey from idea to final print with one shared perspective. Our joint logo is a symbol of that partnership. Its two halves represent each of us separately; brought together, they form Linours - just like our life and our art.
A graduate of the Graphic Design Department at Hacettepe University's Faculty of Fine Arts, Merve Satıoğlu focuses on composition, visual storytelling, and color. At Linours, she is involved in every stage of the design process, from initial concept to final touch, shaping the aesthetic unity of the studio's joint work.
A graduate of the Graphic Design Department at Hacettepe University's Faculty of Fine Arts, Öner Satıoğlu creates work that brings the discipline of graphic design together with traditional linocut printing techniques. At Linours, he works on carving, printing processes, and technical execution, while also playing an active role in the design and development of the studio's joint pieces.
Linours is where the pieces carrying our joint signature come together. Alongside this, each of us continues our own independent work, reflecting our individual perspectives. Sometimes a piece carries only one artist's signature; other times, it's a work we've developed together from idea to final print, carrying our joint signature… Linours represents a shared artistic journey where these two creative approaches meet.
